Even though our taste has not changed, as we feel the same love for tradition, we have continued to improve our production technologies. | | | Features: | |
• One pound dry pasta yields 2.6 pounds cooked pasta
• Family owned company
• O.U. Kosher certified

• Please note: the date printed on the box is the production date. First 3 digits refer to the Julian Date (001= Jan 1, 365 = Dec 31), next two digits are the year. Shelf life is three years from production date.

A better mac and cheezeApr 24, 2012
By W. Nee Though it's really not a macaroni, it's shape and it's ability to hold cheese sauce makes it superior as the sauce goes inside and it's a nice bite size piece of pasta, being about three times larger than a macaroni. Here's a very simple recipe for Cavatappi and Cheeze. Use Trader Joe's Shredded Mexican Blend cheese mixed into a very warm Organic heavy cream. Not too thick or thin (use either more cheese or cream to change the consistency). De Cecco's pastas are the best dried pastas.
Tasty pasta in a different shapeMar 15, 2012
By HI Mommy The pasta arrived promptly and was properly packaged. I used already two boxes and was excited about using pasta in a different shape. I will order this again.

By Lady Marion My boy friend could not find this in the stores. He is a self proclaimed Chef. Well I checked on Amazom and low and behold I found it. He was one happy man. We bought a lot but we eat a lot of pasta so it all worked out.

This Cavatappi is hard to find but what a lifesaver for the Amazon website and its sellers. Keep it coming.
