We have been enjoying the dark roast aroma and flavor of this coffee for about a month. This is great coffee and we would buy it again. The price was great too.

great flavor and valueSep 19, 2010
By Mary If you can't handle the caffiene, but love the robust flavor of a dark roast, this coffee is for you. I love my coffee and I drink a lot of it, so this decaf french roast worked out great for me.

Decaf Delight from the Garden State!Feb 20, 2010
By Madeline R.

I love coffee and lots of it. Wary of over-caffeinating myself, I blend decaf and regular beans in my grinder. It's tough to find a decaf with substance, and being budget-minded I try to buy in volume. I'm from the coffee mecca of Seattle, so When I saw that this coffee was from New Jersey, I thought oh, no! - would there be an acrid taste of smoke reminiscent of factories and Tony Soprano's cigars? (Not that I don't like a smoky aspect to my coffee.) Though wary, I decided to take a chance when I saw that Coffee Bean Direct offered an impressive variety of beans, even though most were not decaf and a few were of the dreaded flavored variety. Well, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised - no Jersey-industrial taint at all! I will order this again.

tasteless coffeeApr 27, 2011
By Karen C. Marr I purchased this coffee for use with my burr coffee mill and espresso maker. These beans produce tasteless espresso with little body. More like water with a little coffee flavor. If you are looking for a true bold french roast espresso, then please keep looking. This coffee is not it.
