Excellent coffeeJul 27, 2011
By D. Smith I used to grind Crema e Gusto beans in a grinder and use it in a $700 Gaggia semi-automatic espresso machine. After losing the best espresso machine ever made (for $700) to a divorce, I've invested in a $20 stovetop Bialetti and use pre-ground Crema e Gusto. In both machines the coffee is excellent. Full-bodied, smooth, never bitter (unless you leave the Bialetti on the stove for too long and come back to a melted handle and rubber gasket). Excellent coffee.

A Rich, Smooth Cup of Espresso...Sep 02, 2011
By Jason Ralsky I purchased this espresso brick for my mother who loves coffee, especially espresso. While I am not very partial to coffee, my mother can be very picky with the quality of her coffee. The Lavazza Crema e Gusto turned out to be a very good gift for her. She loves it! According to her, the coffee comes out Rich and Full-Bodied, while also being very smooth. There is no bitterness at all to the coffee. She makes her espresso using a 3 cup Bialetti, which seems to do a good job getting the flavor out of the coffee grounds and into your cup.
For the Espresso lover out there, while it may not be a premium cup of Espresso, the Lavazza Crema e Gusto Italian Espressoo Brick did not disappoint. You get excellent quality espresso for a fair price per cup ... 5 stars!
Lavazza in AfghanistanMay 07, 2012
By marie I send coffee to my adopted Soldier. I tasted the Lavazza arabica in a black tin and I loved it. For this type of Lavazza it is "great Taste". Without coffee, soldiers would be in deep trouble and it "make wonders". So definitely I prefer Lavazza to Illy. The Illy coffee I bought first time (Moka) was disappointing in flavour and taste. I usually drink 100% Arabica coffee. Anyway if my soldier is happy with Lavazza, he will get lavazza till he gets back Home. It was first time I think he tried this brand.
Too lightApr 30, 2012
By Silvia Torre Although I'm a fan of Lavazza, this particular mix tastes good but is too light, even though I use twice as much as usual. I also want to take this opportunity to let you know that the Lavazza pods are not good for Senseo.
Finally got the correct kind of coffeeApr 17, 2012

After living in Italy for 6 years the search for the perfect coffee has been long. While the packaging is different, this coffee is smooth and has a bit of sweet too it. I use it in the Mukka express I bought while living there and it makes the best cappuccino.
Then adding this to the mix, a perfect crema and light flavor make it an excellent mix.
