LavAzza Qualita RossaDec 31, 2011
By Josko Duric I owe a Coffee Shop in one Mediterennen medevial city and have a lot of experience with various types of Coffees. LavAzza is the favorite brend of Italians (among with Illy) with a reason. It has the best Robusta type coffee ground while Illy has the best rated 100% Arabica blend. LavAzza's 100% Arabica, called Tierra, in Europe is not highly rated as the other blends, such as Grand Riserva (the best LavAzza's blend), but some robusta blend are the top on the market. In US market, Qualita Rossa is the best one I tried so far; it has 70% Arabica nd 30% Robusta ratio; with delicate flavor and creamy top (if you have a good espresso machine and knowledge of espresso making). It is good as well for Capuccino with it's 'sweety' note. Would recommend it definitely.

By Elizabeth J. Soto This product is good. The taste is not bitter. I really enjoyed this coffee. However, the price is a bit steep.

best lavazza everSep 18, 2011
By aJ I've tried Lavazza Caffe Espresso and Crema e Gusto. Rossa tastes like middle of these.
Crema e Gusto is the cheapest so if it tastes ok i wanted to go with it. however, it has bitter and acid aftertaste. And this acid make my stomach growling. I had that growling with Caffe Espresso but with Rossa, never experienced it.
DisappointedMay 24, 2012

"Prabha"
I bought this coffee based on all the good reviews and really wanted to like it, but I found it practically flavorless. It does have some chocolate notes, but what's missing is the coffee notes! I was hoping for rich coffee flavor and caramel sweetness, but it's bland in that department. I brew it in a Moka pot and drink my coffee with milk and sugar, so maybe this coffee would be more suitable to other brewing methods.
Medium Roast - BewareMay 23, 2012
By GoMama The coffee is good, but beware it is a medium roast not dark roast like most expect espresso to be. Disappointed.
