I can't really judge the quality of this paste versus others since it ends up in sauces, stews etc, but it seems ok . I bought it because it seemed to be the best value among the tube pastes and I was tired of opening a can for a tbs or 2, then watching the rest of the can go bad in the fridge. Glad I bought this and will buy again.

This product is extremely useful. No more unused portions in the back of the refrigerater. Keep a tube in the door and take it out when you need a a couple of teaspoons or tablespoons or just a squirt. No waste. Saves time and money. Great to take for camping or the cabin.

I keep this on hand always. Flavor is bright and fresh tomato, no tin can sharpness. Packaging is super handy and allows for using only what is needed without wasting product. Bellisimo.

I always keep a few tubes of this Mutti Tomato paste in my pantry. The flavor is a very fresh tasting robust tomato taste; it helps thicken and adds wonderful flavor to my soups and sauces.
The label has lots of useful information, including -
* ingredients: Italian tomatoes, salt.
* the recommendation refrigerate after opening and discard the unused portion after 20 days.
* a serving size is 2T and a 4.5oz tube has approximately 7 servings.
* processed using a dehydration method that results in 28% dry extract of the tomatoes
* certified as using environmentally friendly cultivation methods
If it could be stored longer than 20 days (like ketchup) I would give it a fifth star but I often either store it longer than the recommended date and worry about food safety or I wind up throwing out the unused portion which is not particularly cost effective.
Still, a far superior taste than any canned paste I have tried so I'll continue to buy and enjoy it.

Lovely,concentrated and great tasting. Tried this one because Amazon has so many wonderful choices. Worth the try. Tomato paste in a tube couldn't be more convenient. Will buy Mutti again. The tubes are a generous size, are dated way ahead. Keep them in a cool dry place until use. Pop in the refrigerator once opened. I haven't bought tomato paste any other way for several years now. You only use what you need. You don't need much as this is brimming with rich tomato flavor. Great price too for six tubes.
