Santisi Novello 2009 Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 750 ml.

We love this extra virgin oil from the province of Messina in Sicily. Crafted from Sant'Agatese olives, this EVOO with green reflections features a fresh aroma with a herbaceous elements, including a taste of artichoke and hint of almonds. What we notice most about the unfiltered novello is full bodied and very sweet and yet finishes with the peppery sensation in the throat, further indicative of its very fresh status.

This fine oil has been selected by several NYC chefs. We're sure you will want this in your collection. The bottling features an attractive, colorful label with an illustration of the harvest.

Santisi best complements the Mediterranean diet when used with vegetables, fish, salads, and roasts. Our staffer created a lovely dinner of pasta with rappini with this Novello. This oil is also distinguished by the presence of Selenium (to a maximum of 110 mcg). Low acidity, 0.14.
