Torani's" Sugar Free Vanilla Flavor Syrup", is a nice way to add a little variety to your coffee, without having to run out to a Starbuck's for a sugar free Vanilla Latte.. As I mentioned in the title, there are no calories, fats, carbs or sugars. The taste is very sweet and vanillery, and you can use it in anything you want to add a little variety or flavor. I like it in my Pellegrino. Makes a nice Vanilla Soda. In my coffee, I found I did not have to add anything else. The syrup was good enough and tasty enough on it's own.I use it whenever, I get a sweet tooth, to get me past a craving for something with more calories involved.
It is sweetened with "Splenda", and if you are not used to using Sugar substitutes, you may not like the little bit of an after taste it leaves.
Ingrediants as listed are: Water, Vanilla Extract, other natural flavors, Potassium Sorbate and Sodium Benzoate(there are 5 mg sodium listed on the label), Citric Acid,Xanthan Gum,Sucralose(the Splenda), Acesulfame Potassium.
It's a bargain for the 750 ml, sold here.I paid almost as much for 375ml at my local grocery store. You'll probably use about two tablespoons per drink.(more or less) You'll get your money's worth. Add it to anything you want, hot chocolate, iced tea, etc. Maybe with the holiday's coming, it would be a nice change in other beverages as well. It is also sold with sugar added, and there are several other flavors with or without sugar, just click on other products by Torani at top of page. .
Cheers....Laurie

Excellent product if you have a sweet toothMay 09, 2006
By Amalfi Coast Girl If you haven't tried this product you really should buy a bottle and experience it for yourself. I think that it is good enough that you won't miss the sugar.
Water is so good for us, but so boring. If you are trying to increase your consumption of water, try a little of this in the water.
This product can also be used to make an Italian soda (a little syrup, a little cream, and some sparkling water). Another yummy treat, if only they made a fat free cream it would be perfect. I have not tried to make an Italian soda using the Land-O-Lakes Fat Free half and half but it should work.
My husband and I have been buying this brand of sugar free syrup for years. A pump of this syrup into your coffee changes it from a standard morning beverage into a liquid candy bar in a mug. I recently switched from half and half to soy milk in my coffee. With this syrup in my coffee the switch to soy milk was very easy.
This product can also be used to drizzle on fruit if you need a little extract sweetener.
The ingredients in this product (listed in order) are as follows: Purified water Vanilla extract with other natural flavors Potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate (to preserve freshness) Citric acid Xantham gum Sucralose (splenda brand) Acesulfame potassium
Nutrition Facts label reads as follows: Serving Size: 1 oz. Servings per Package: 25.4 Calories: 0 Calories from fat: 0 Total Fat: 0 g Sodium: 15 mg Total Carbohydrate: 0 g Sugars: 0 g Protein: 0g
If you find that you like this product I would suggest that you order a pump for the bottle. It allows you to dispense the same amount into your coffee without having to tediously measure.

Tastes great...Apr 24, 2009

I find this to be much better tasting than Davinci Syrup. I'm not a big fan of anything with artificial sweeteners, but wanted to made a try to get off using so much sugar. So far, this has been great. I honestly don't taste the difference with this in my coffee. I had previously tried the Davinci, but didn't care for it at all.

Awful aftertasteMay 18, 2009
By R. Cantisano I mistakenly bought 3 bottles of the stuff without tasting it first. This syrup taste like a bad diet drink from the 70's. I guess they just have not been able to duplicate the genuine flavor of sugar. I ended up trying it in coffee as a flavor and it still came up short. Three bottles down the drain.
Delicious Syrup!Nov 03, 2010
By L. Johnson I buy the sugar-free vanilla syrup for my husband to use in his coffee. It definitely has a great flavor. I recommend buying a pump to go with it so that you can easily measure it. Nice, sugar-free way to sweeten and flavor coffee.
