Tastes Like a Coffee ShopSep 17, 2010
By Kate87 During finals this past spring I became obsessed with Peppermint White Chocolate Mochas from Starbucks. However, given the cost, I needed to find a cheaper option. This syrup is perfect! Love the flavor it adds to coffee and ice cream. The plastic bottles also make shipping safe. All around great item. One con, the lack/cost of a pump. While pouring it out isn't that big of a deal, it would be more convenient to have a pump. I thought about buying one but the cost seemed a bit excessive. If you use this daily, I'd suggest one.

Where's the peppermint?Oct 28, 2010
By mofolotopo I just bought a 3 pack of this stuff because my wife and I both like peppermint in our coffee. The problem is, we just flat out can't taste the peppermint in this. Maybe we got a bad batch, but three (3!) squirts of this into a small cup of coffee made the coffee taste sweet but not at all peppermint-y. I even tasted some straight and couldn't really taste much peppermint. What the hey?

great for peppermint milkshakesDec 20, 2010
By Alicia A. Wilson I purchased this for my husbands niece who just opened a hot dog restaurant. She was experimenting with different flavored milkshakes for the holiday season and so I purchased her this syrup to try out...it is awesome in milkshakes and even better milkshakes with crushed peppermint candy in it! The price is fantastic and she's considering keeping the milkshake on full time! It also tastes great in hot cocoa!

Great and refreshingSep 29, 2009
By Raymond Chow I've had other syrups before that were too sweet, but Torani manages to balance flavor and sweetness perfectly. The peppermint flavor is simply amazing with coffee (just put one or two pumps in), and really brings out the darker flavors in chocolate (a little bit in hot cocoa or just chocolate milk).

Acceptable flavorSep 30, 2011
By Icono It's a great sweetener, but as far as the peppermint flavor, it's really subdued. I'm rating four stars as I'm giving Torani the benefit of the doubt. I was hoping for something more potent, but I also realize I should be dispensing more than I'd care to drink in one cup; baristas tend to do 1-2 full pumps, whereas I don't want more than a teaspoon or two of sugary syrup in my drink. For a stronger taste and less calories, you may wish to try a drop of organic peppermint essential oil instead.
